Vineyard Notes
For over four decades, Girard has produced a red wine blend from our best barrel lots. In 2003, we found a fitting name for this blend that promotes the artistic side of winemaking. It is in the blending process that we feel “Artistry” finds its best representation.

We’ve built this blend from Napa’s best, pulling Cabernet Sauvignon from St. Helena, Diamond Mountain, and Calistoga for structure and power. Merlot from Yountville softens the palate with dark fruit, while Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot add floral aromatics and complexity. The Petit Verdot, especially, brings weight and structure. This blend represents a focused expression of Napa’s diverse vineyards.
